Delhi: In his 25th edition of 'Mann Ki Baat' radio talk, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday saluted the valour of the armed forces and lauded their sacrifice while dedicating the festival of Diwali to them.

Expressing his gratitude towards military personnel, Modi credited the soldiers for maintenance of peace and security in the country and called upon everyone to remember their gallantry while celebrating Diwali.

"In the wake of recent events, our soldiers have been sacrificing their everything for the safety and security of the country. Their dedication and labour has overwhelmed me completely. Let us dedicate this Diwali to our armed forces,” PM Modi said.

While speaking on Mann Ki Baat, he lauded the troops for their love and sacrifice for the country. "Every citizen of the country is proud of our soldiers."

Modi also said that the #Sandesh2Soldiers hashtag was used by a lot of people. "I had invited everyone to participate in the Sandesh2Soldiers campaign and I have been humbled by the response. From students, villagers and traders to political leaders and sports persons , everyone has sent a Diwali message for our soldiers," he said while referring to the jawans who are stationed in deserts and on the icy heights of the Himalayas and security personnel who are guarding our industries and airports.

"Our forces endure grave hardships for our security. Someone is stationed in a desert, someone on the Himalayas, someone is guarding our industrial installations and someone is protecting our airports. Everyone is fulfilling a mighty responsibility. If we remember them while being in a festive mood, our remembrance will give them strength and renewed energy. I thank everyone for responding to Sandesh2Soldiers," Modi said in over half-an-hour address on the occasion of Diwali.

Modi also urged all citizens and state governments to find ways of forging unity across the country and working to defeat separatist tendencies and mentalities.

In the wake of ongoing troubles in the Kashmir Valley, he said, "Unity in diversity is our strength. It is the responsibility of every citizen and all governments to forge unity and curb separatist tendencies to save the country."

While wishing the nation in his monthly radio programme on the occasion of Diwali, he said Diwali is a festival associated with cleanliness.

PM Modi said the festival is a marker of "swachhta" with every family taking it upon themselves to clean their house. The PM, however said, "The call of time is to extend this campaign of cleanliness out of one's house to one's surroundings."

He urged people to mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary and remembered the anti-Sikh riots of 1984.

"Tomorrow we are celebrating Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary. He worked to bring everyone together, he worked for unity, fought for unity and brought unity amongst people and we all must remember it," Modi said in his monthly radio address "Mann Ki Baat".

Modi also said, "History remembers how Sikh people and 'sardars' all over the country faced violence and pain" after October 31 when prime minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated.

PM Modi also remembered Guru Nanak and how his life and teachings hold message for the people of today.

The PM also took the occasion to note how the Indian festivals are environment friendly and urged parents to stand with their children as the latter burn crackers today.

Feat of Indian Army no Less Than That of Israel, Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday likened the army's anti-terror surgical strikes to Israel's exploits and said the Indian forces have shown they are no less than anybody.

"Our army's valour is being discussed across the country these days. We used to hear earlier that Israel has done this. The nation has seen that Indian army is no less than anybody," he said.
Israel is known for its targeted military strikes against enemy countries and militant outfits.
Modi was speaking at a rally in Himachal Pradesh where he inaugurated three hydro-power projects.

The issue of surgical strikes has snowballed into a political row with the opposition accusing the BJP and its government of "milking" it for political benefits. The charge has been rejected by BJP which has insisted that it is taking the issue to the masses to boost the army's morale and highlight the strong political will of the Prime Minister.

Underscoring his commitment to the welfare of armed forces, Modi today said his government had fulfilled its promise of 'One-Rank, One-Pension' for ex-servicemen, an issue which he said had been hanging fire for over 40 years.

Previous governments, he said, duped the people by making tall claims and some of them even allocated Rs 200 crore-500 crore in this regard but never did an analysis of cost burden and how it could be executed.

"I did it and was puzzled to find that the economic burden kept rising. It worked to be more than Rs 10,000 crore," he said, adding that it was difficult for any government to make such a big allocation in one go.

Modi said he spoke to armed forces and offered to release the money in four installments to which they agreed.

"Over Rs 5,500 crore in first installment has been given. The rest will be too. A promise hanging fire for the last 40 years has been fulfilled," he said.

At the 'Parivartan Rally', Modi also targeted Virbhadra Singh, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh where elections are due late next year, saying BJP chief ministers dedicated themselves to causes like drinking water and roads while the Congress leader was concerned about his own welfare.

"Do I need to explain what the current chief minister is known for?" he said and then added, "When BJP gave chief ministers, somebody dedicated himself to water, somebody to roads but when others came they dedicated so many things for their personal welfare," he said.

BJP has accused Singh of being involved in corruption but the Congress leader has rejected the charges and claimed that he was a victim of "political vendetta".

पंजाब पुलिस अमेरिकी खुफिया एजेंसी एफबीआई की तर्ज पर अपने कुत्तों को ट्रेनिंग दे रही है. इसके लिए डेराबस्सी इलाके में पंजाब होमगार्ड कंबाइन ब्रीडिंग एंड ट्रेनिंग इंस्टीट्यूट शुरू किया गया है. यहां ट्रेनिंग पाने वाले कुत्तों को बाद में सूबे के अलग अलग जिलों में भेज दिया जाएगा.

दरअसल पंजाब पुलिस ने हाल ही में अमेरिकी खुफिया एजेंसी एफबीआई के कुत्तों को प्रशिक्षण देने वाली अमेरिकी कंपनी ईएसडी नेटवर्क के साथ इस ट्रेनिंग को लेकर 25 साल का समझौता किया है. अब उस कंपनी के विशेषज्ञ आकर पंजाब पुलिस के कुत्तों को प्रशिक्षण देंगे. पहले बैच का प्रशिक्षण शुरू हो गया है.

डेराबस्सी इलाके में 40 एकड़ जमीन पर पंजाब होमगार्ड कंबाइन ब्रीडिंग एंड ट्रेनिंग इंस्टीट्यूट की स्थापना की गई है. यहां से ट्रेनिंग हासिल करने वाले कुत्ते किसी भी घटना के दौरान पुलिस के लिए मददगार साबित होंगे. ट्रेनिंग के लिए पहले बैच में लेब्राडोर नस्ल के चालीस कुत्तों को शामिल किया गया है.

लेब्राडोर नस्ल के कुत्तों की सूंघने की क्षमता सबसे तेज होती है. वे तस्करों और ड्रग पैडलर्स को पकड़ने के साथ-साथ विस्फोटक पदार्थ ढूंढने में भी माहिर होते हैं. यही नहीं गाड़ियों की तलाशी या प्राकृतिक आपदा के वक्त लाशों या मलबे के नीचे दबे लोगों को ढूंढने में भी इनका जवाब नहीं है. पुलिस के लिए ये बड़े मददगार हैं.

इस केंद्र में कुत्तों के पहले बैच को पांच सप्ताह का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा. इसके बाद इनमें से करीब 28 कुत्तों को राज्य के विभिन्न जिलों में पुलिस विभाग के पास भेजा जाएगा. जबकि अन्य 12 को दूसरे राज्यों की मांग के अनुसार दूसरी जगहों पर भेजा जाएगा.

To prevent leaking of sensitive information and policy decisions, the government has banned use of mobile phones in cabinet meetings.

In a move to counter cyber security threat, the Prime Minister's Office has banned use of mobile phones in cabinet meetings. The decision was aimed at preventing leak of any sensitive information about the cabinet decisions and matters of policy making.

The Central Secretariat recently issued a circular to this effect. The circular was issued at the direction of the PMO.

The Central Secretariat asked all the private secretaries to brief their ministers 'appropriately' about the decision that "smart-phones/mobile phones henceforth will not be permitted inside meeting venues of Cabinet/Cabinet committees."

CYBER THREAT

On the basis of the intelligence inputs, the government fears that the devices may be hacked by Chinese or Pakistani agencies in the aftermath of the surgical strikes.

The government has already instructed employees of sensitive departments not to connect their mobile phones to their official computers or laptops even for charging. The departments in the South Block- that houses the PMO, Defence Ministry and Ministry of External Affair are no-smartphone zones.

BANNED IN UK, FRANCE

Mobile phones are already banned in the cabinet meetings in Britain and France. David Cameron imposed the ban on mobile phones in cabinet meetings in May 2010, when he was the prime minister of Britain.

In France use of mobile phones during cabinet meetings was prohibited in April, 2014.

In a blunt message, India today asked Pakistan to stop supporting terrorism and vacate illegal occupation of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir as it highlighted human rights violations in Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh and persecution of minorities including Hindus.

“We, once again, ask Pakistan to stop inciting and supporting violence and terrorism in any part of India and refrain from meddling in our internal affairs in any manner. We call upon the Council to urge Pakistan to fulfill its obligation to vacate illegal occupation of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir,” India said in its right to reply at the 33rd Session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) here.

It said Pakistan continues to test the patience as well as wisdom of the Council with its unceasing false-narrative backed by fabricated facts and figures about Jammu & Kashmir.

“Pakistan has had territorial ambitions over Kashmir since 1947 that has found concrete expression in the aggression it embarked on in 1947, 1965 and 1999. As on date, Pakistan is in illegal and forcible occupation of 78,000 sq kms (approx) of Indian Territory in Jammu & Kashmir,” it said.

The fundamental reason for disturbances in Kashmir is cross-border terrorism promoted by Pakistan, it added.

Raising human rights violations in Pakistan, India said, “the people of Balochistan, amongst other provinces, have been waging for decades a bitter and brave struggle against their daily abuse and torture.

“Religious and sectarian minorities such as Hindus, Christians, Shias, Ahmaddiyas, Ismailis and others continue to face discrimination, persecution and targeted attacks in Pakistan. Places of worship belonging to minorities have been destroyed and vandalized. Blasphemy laws remain in force and are disproportionately used against religious minorities.”

Noting that various international organizations have documented how enforced disappearances continue with impunity, particularly in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh where members of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement are routinely abducted and killed, India said selective but extremely opaque and high-handed use of force by Pakistani authorities has affected civilian populations on a large scale.

Underlining that more than one million people remain displaced as a result of the current and past armed conflicts in the northwest of Pakistan, India said, “Pakistan will be well-advised to focus its energies on setting its own house in order and acting against the perpetrators of terrorist attacks on its neighbours instead of ritually raking up alleged human rights violations elsewhere.”

Earlier, making a statement at the session here, India called upon the Council to urge Pakistan to put an end to cross-border infiltration; dismantle the terrorism infrastructure; and stop acting as an epicentre of terrorism.

India said it firmly believes that a policy of “zero tolerance” against terrorism is as much an international obligation as it is a commitment to its own people.

“We, once again, ask Pakistan to stop inciting and supporting violence and terrorism in any part of India and refrain from meddling in our internal affairs in any manner.

Prime Minister N. Modi addressed the public for the first time at Kozhikode in Kerala on Friday since the deadly attack in Uri which killed 18 Indian soldiers. Modi sent a strong message to Pakistan from Kozhikode where the three-dayBharatiya Janata Party National Council’s meeting began on Friday.

PM Narendra Modi said that Indians will never forget the gruesome act of killing 18 soldiers in Uri.

दिल्ली: आधार कार्ड की अनिवार्यता लगातार बढ़ रही है और आने वाले दिनों में रेलवे टिकट की बुकिंग से अन्य सेवाओं को दायरे में लाने की तैयारी है. भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) ने 20 ऐसी नई सेवाओं की पहचान कर ली है जिनमें आधार नंबर को अनिवार्य किया हुआ है. अगर आप अपने आधार कार्ड की कोई जानकारी अपडेट करना चाहते हैं तो दिए गए आजमाएं.

आधार कार्ड हो सकता है अनिवार्य -

बैंक खाता खोलने, सिम कार्ड या फोन कनेक्शन लेने, प्रॉपर्टी रजिस्ट्रेशन, वोटर रजिस्ट्रेशन और लैंड रिकॉर्ड को भी आधार से जोड़ने का प्रपोजल जल्द आ सकता है. इतना ही नहीं, स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में छात्रों के नामांकन और यूपीएससी और एसएससी की ओर से आयोजित की जाने वाली परीक्षाओं में रजिस्ट्रेश के लिए भी उम्मीदवारों सेआधार देने के लिए कहा जा सकता है. कुल मिलाकर आने वाले दिनों में बिना आधार कार्ड के काम नहीं चलेगा. आधार कार्ड से जुड़ी समस्याएं भी कम नहीं है. कुछ समस्याओं और उनके निपटान की चर्चा करना जरूरी है.

अब एक Portal पर आधार कार्ड से संबंधित सुविधाएं मिलेंगी -
आधार नंबर के बारे में जानकारी लेने, स्टेटस चेक करने जैसे अन्य कामों के लिए अब आपको अलग- अलग पोर्टल पर विजिट नहीं करना पड़ेगा. यूआईडीएआई ने आधार से जुड़े इन कामों के लिए अब एक ही पोर्टल पर तमाम सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करा दी हैं. यूआईडीएआई ने पोर्टल का यूनिफार्म रिसोर्स लोकेटर (यूआरएल) भी बदल दिया है. अब यह uidai.gov.in की जगह https://uidai.gov.in/beta/ हो गया है. देश में 105 करोड़ से ज्यादा आबादी को आधार नंबर मिलने के बाद यूआईडीएआई ने यह बदलाव किया है. अभी तक तीन अलग पोर्टल पर जाकर काम निपटाए जाते थे.

आप अपडेट कर सकते हैं -
अगर आपके आधार कार्ड में नाम, पता आप अपना नाम, पता, जन्मतिथि, उम्र, लिंग संबंधी जानकारी, मोबाइल नंबर, ईमेल पता आदि को ऑनलाइन या पोस्ट द्वारा दस्तावेज भेजकर अपडेट कर सकते हैं.

करेक्शन या अपडेट -
आधारकार्ड को बनवाने के लिए अब प्रक्रिया को और भी आसान कर दिया गया है. अब जगह-जगह कैंप लगाने से लेकर ऑनलाइन फॉर्म भरकर इसे बनाया जाता है. इन सबके बावजूद काफी गलतियां हो जाती हैं. लेकिन इसके बन जाने के बाद भी इसे सुधारा जा सकता है. आधार कार्ड में सुधार करना बेहद आसान है. आधार कार्ड में हुईं गलतियों को घर बैठे आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर जाकर आसानी से सुधारा जा सकता है. इसके लिए आपको सिर्फ 4 स्टेप अपनाने होंगे. आपका काम बेहद आसानी से हो जाएगा. जानिए क्या हैं वो चार कदम जो आपके बेहद काम के हैं.

Stepts needs to take -

1. https://ssup.uidai.gov.in वेबसाइट पर जाएं. अपना आधार नंबर दर्ज करें. फिर कैप्चा डालें. जो मोबाइल नंबर दिया होगा उस पर OTP (वन टाइम पासवर्ड) का मैसेज आएगा उसे बॉक्स में डाल दें. ऐसा करने से वेबसाइट पर लॉग इन हो जाएंगें.

2.आपके सामने नाम, पता, जन्मतिथि, उम्र, लिंग संबंधी जानकारी, मोबाइल नंबर, ईमेल पता आदि से संबंधित फील्ड आ जाएंगी. आपको आधार कार्ड में सुधार का अनुरोध अंग्रेजी और अपनी स्थानीय भाषा में सबमिट करना होगा. आप नई जानकारी को भरकर सबमिट कर दें.

3. डेटा अपडेट के बाद प्रोसेस्ड पर क्लिक करें. अपनी नई जानकारी का समर्थन करने वाले सभी संबधित दस्तावेज अपलोड कर दें. उसके बाद Confirm पर क्लिक कर दें. इसके बाद एजिस और कार्विस में से किसी पर क्लिक कर सब्मिट कर दें. जैसे ही सारी जानकारी अपडेट हो जाएगी तो अपडेशन का मैसेज आपके मोबाइल पर आ जाएगा जिसमें URN नंबर होगा.

4. सबसे आखिर में आधार नंबर और URN नंबर डालें और लॉग ऑट कर दें. फिर डेटा अपडेट के ऑप्शन पर जाएं और अपना आधार नंबर और URN नंबर डाल चेक कर लें. कुछ देर में अपडेशन का मैसेज आपके मोबाइल पर आ जाएगा.

Defense Minister of France calls on PM

H. E. Mr. Jean-Yves Le Drian, Defense Minister of France called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today.

Minister Le Drian expressed condolences for the victims of the cross-border terrorist attack at Uri, J&K on 18 September 2016 and expressed resolve to strengthen bilateral counter-terrorism cooperation. He said that France stands with India in the fight against terrorism.

Minister Le Drian briefed the Prime Minister on the current status of bilateral defense cooperation.

The Prime Minister welcomed the signing of the inter-governmental agreement on purchase of 36 Rafale aircraft earlier in the day, and called for its speedy and timely implementation.

Ready To Make Rafale In India, Says Dassault CEO

"It is 36 at the moment. We feel that we can create a strong industrial partnership in India. We know very well the large number of aircraft that the IAF needs," Mr Trappier said in an interview to PTI in New Delhi.

He said that Dassault Aviation, manufacturer of the Rafale jets, is committed to the Make in India initiative.

"Yes, of course. We will see how we can carry forward with the 'Make in India' initiative. We are open to manufacturing Rafales in India," Mr Trappier said when asked if the French firm was willing to manufacture the fighter aircraft in India if the plane was shortlisted for a bigger order.

The CEO said the company will work with the IAF and the government to see how they can meet India's needs.

He said the focus was to build an industrial partnership in India for Rafale jets and the 50 per cent offset clause will be of help.

ये सच है साब. साल 2012 में एक फ़िल्म आई थी. जिसका नाम था 'Chinese Zodiac’. इस फ़िल्म में जैकी चैन ने 15 Credits लेकर गिनीज़ बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकार्ड अपने नाम किया था. जैकी चैन ने हालांकि 100 से ज़्यादा फ़िल्में की हैं, पर MSG ने तो अपनी तीसरी फ़िल्म में ही 30 लोगों का काम अकेले करके धमाल मचा रखा है.

जैकी चैन को 52 साल का तजुर्बा है, तो MSG को अभी दो साल ही हुए हैं.
